Creamology Labs first opened its doors in July 2015 and has been scooping made to order liquid nitrogen to locals from all around Whittier, CA. It was founded by a Biomedical Engineer and a Financial Economist who got together and spent months crafting and perfecting the best tasting ice cream.
Compared to the traditional process of making the ice cream beforehand and putting it out in buckets for customers to choose from, each serving of ice cream at Creamology Labs is created right in front of you. The trick to pulling off this amazing feat is a unique process of using liquid nitrogen to flash freeze the ice cream so that you can enjoy its great taste mere seconds after its been made.
With the clouds of liquid nitrogen emerging from the mixing bowls you’ll feel like you’re in the ice cream parlor of the future. As if all of this innovation wasn’t enough, the process creates the creamiest ice cream you’ll ever have.
The ice cream flavors all come from Germany and the ice cream base is sourced locally from a farm nearby, so you’re essentially getting a farm to cone concept.
The customers have the opportunity to create one hundred percent original flavors by choosing from a plethora of yummy ingredients ranging from fruit, to cereal to sauces such as caramel or chocolate syrup. This could be the only place you’re likely to find a cup of caramel, banana, Cap’N Crunch all combined into a single ice cream flavor.
