Say ‘Chelò’ to the newest ice cream spot in Rowland Heights, CA. Owner Jeannette Chang has had dreams of opening a cream shop, and invited us for a preview of whats in store. It’s located in the plaza alongside Half and Half Tea House and the popular hot pot spot, Jazz Cat.
Sometimes you want Italian ice, or custard, or gelato, or shaved snow, Dole Whip floats, etc. Whatever you’re craving, this is THE one stop shop for it all.
Chelò Creamery is a cute little shop that reminds you of that little blue box you get from Tiffany’s. Every girl wants that blue box, but everyone will definitely want Chelo Creamery after trying the combination of flavors and desserts.
On the cone, we had Sweet Cream, Banana, and Guava…because COLORS. We topped it off with a pirouette cookie and sprinkles.
No need to wait in line at Marie Callenders or Coco’s for their infamous banana cream pies. Check out Chelò’s version of the banana cream pie. It comes with pecan shortbread crust, frozen vanilla custard, caramel syrup and banana gelato.
Off the menu, they have some creations like the Guava Cobbler aka “Queen of Hearts.” This one came with pink guava puree loaded with crushed graham crackers and strawberry sauce. This one definitely won our hearts.
Watch out for Chelò Creamery because they have something special up their sleeves to be released…SOON!
